Happy Sunday Vagabundos,

In the scramble that has been the past couple of months I’ve come to realize that I’ve missed something completely relevant in regards to our magazine.  The realization came when a friend said something to me along the lines of “dude, your magazine is amazing but it’s tough to read on my smart phone, and I want to read it while I’m on the toilet.”  When I told him that it came in an iPhone, iPad, android, etc. ready version he had no idea.  It was only then that I realized I’ve completely left the mobile version of the magazine off the website (huge gaff).

Anyways, I want you all to know that the magazine is available on kindle, but it’s also available on any of the “i” gadgets as well as anything android through magzter.  You can find the magazine through your iStore newstand for magazines.  Or, you can go directly to the magzter website and view/subscribe to our magazine right there: http://www.magzter.com/CA/Vagabundo-Magazine/Vagabundo-Magazine/Lifestyle/

The truth is that the magazine looks amazing on these devices and I’m a little bit embarrassed that I didn’t roll that all out sooner.  I hope you check out the mobile version of the magazine so, as my friend says, you can take us with you even while your on the toilet.

On another (non-toilet related) note, we have a couple more personnel announcements at the magazine.  The first is that we’ve brought on a new intern since Sarah moved into one of the column positions.  Lizzie Ruiz is now on the team and we’re very glad to have her.  She’s a fantastic writer, very adventurous and has the same love and passion for travel that the rest of us here at the magazine have.  You can read a little more about her here.

The second announcement is that Jackie has been promoted from intern to head of marketing and now will be in charge of promoting the magazine to the world.  Jackie is very deserving of the promotion and we find ourselves very lucky to have her on the team.

That means, of course, now that Jackie has moved up the rung, that we’re on the look out for a new intern.  If you or someone you know might be interest in working with us on an intern basis please visit our contact page and shoot us a message!

——————————————-

Well, that’s it for me this week, as you can see it very busy around the magazine.  We’re in the process of piecing together the next issue which is always fun.  It will be hitting newsstands October 8th.  Oh, and from that point on we’ll be moving to bi-monthly so you’ll only have to wait 2 months to get the next issue from now on.

Stay safe out there, wherever you are,

Editor-in-Chief,

Brendan van Son
